I thought this little short video on YouTube was interesting from Psychiatrist Allen Frances M.D. who says he was at the beginning of his training during the period when Benzodiazepines first appear in the early 1960s. He discusses what some of the thoughts and beliefs were about the drug as well as what was discovered about how the drug affected people after using it and becoming addicted to it.
