For my project, I am going to be analyzing how society can negatively influence a woman’s mental health. As a young woman myself, I am not blind to the different forms of oppression upon women; suggested body types, facial structures, status, etc., which is what drew me into the topic even further.
For my project, I will be analyzing the film Black Swan, starring Natalie Portman . The film follows the live of a ballerina and her struggles to becoming the perfect Swan Queen. As the film continues, you begin to see the main character slowly enter a darker state.
As for format; I believe I am aiming towards a Powerpoint, Google Slide, or an entirely new website dedicated to the project itself.
