For my project, I plan on creating a digitally enhanced essay on PTSD in students who have survived school shootings. I will be focusing on three different shootings for the project: Columbine, Virginia Tech, and Parkland. I will be researching how the topic of PTSD in school shooting victims has changed over time. My research will use primary sources that include interviews, memoirs, and poems from the survivors. For secondary sources, I have psychology journals that show research on PTSD in school shooting survivors. I also have a couple of historical accounts on both PTSD and shootings. I plan to use interviews, poems, and pictures from my primary sources in my essay.
