{"id":76,"date":"2018-01-02T15:27:30","date_gmt":"2018-01-02T15:27:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/courses.mcclurken.org\/adh26\/?page_id=76"},"modified":"2026-01-05T02:01:03","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T02:01:03","slug":"project-outlines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/courses.mcclurken.org\/adh26\/project-outlines\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Outlines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The course will be centered on five digital history projects, all of which are related to making local resources available online.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>These projects will include<\/strong>: creating a site related to the 100th Anniversary and history of Devil-Goat Day (DGD); partnering to create digital history projects with the James Monroe Museum (JMM); an ethically focused exploration of history and its potential presentation(s) through generative AI tools (AI); partnering to create digital history projects with the Heritage Center(HC); and working to make previous digital history projects stable and accessible)(ACC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The structure of the class is such that we\u2019ll spend the first four weeks looking at examples of Digital History\/Digital Humanities\/Digital Liberal Arts and being introduced to a \u201cdigital toolbox\u201d from which you and your group will chose as you decide on the shape of your project.\u00a0 Then you and your group will propose a contract for the project.
